Art on Merchandise Mart
The Merchandise Mart is one of the largest commercial buildings in the world, and gets transformed into an outdoor art installation, showcasing some of the world’s most celebrated artists. This is synchronized with music and sound effects, creating a truly immersive experience.
Every night, they project the artwork onto the building’s façade. The projection takes place from spring through fall. The artwork is created using 34 projectors. The canvas is 25 stories tall and 200 feet wide. This makes it one of the largest permanent digital art displays globally. Additionally, Art on the Mart showcases a variety of artistic styles, from colorful abstract paintings to stunning nature photography. The art is curated by local and international artists, ensuring diversity.
